Amazon Web Services
Expo Hall Booth

For AWS re:Invent 2015 the events team and I wanted to significantly raise the bar (and roof) of the AWS booth. One of the goals was to create a two-story booth that could house a bar on the top floor and provide a theater and locations for kiosks for each major solution provided by Amazon Web Services.  The AWS booth needed to stand out in a sea of other tech vendor booths in the Expo hall. It needed to be eye catching, and have a sense of presence and be able to provide a unique experience from the rest of the expo floor.

My Role: Creative/Design Lead
In House StakeHolder: Kelley Shultz
Producer: T3 Expo
Client/Employer: Amazon Web Services

Responsibilities: I worked as creative director on this project, working closely with the in house stakeholder (Kelley Shultz) and T3 (Signage and structure vendor) to design and create a booth that raised the bar on AWS booth experiences. I provided sketches for three possible directions along with material and color palettes to for T3 to build out feasible structural renderings. I then was responsible for approving structures and designing and creating all graphics that were to be used in the booth. On site I was also responsible for directing the lighting for the booth.
